Q: How did your brand started, what was the inspiration, why are you doing what you’re doing?
A: Sneeb started as something to do while I was bored in high school. I wasn’t into wasting time watching tv or playing video games so I decided to try something else. I took Graphic Design class in school where I learned illustrator and was always finishing projects way before anyone else in class. I didn’t want to just sit around so I began making my own designs, which I would then work on more once I got home. My inspiration for some of the first designs were from being bored in classes, like english or history, and just doodling while taking notes. So it has went from just for something to do to something I enjoy doing. Went from a way to make a couple of dollars to doing something fun and rewarding.
Q: What are your designs about?
A: That’s still something I’m trying to figure out. I don’t sit around and try to come up with something for all my designs to be about. I’d rather just make them and then take a step back and see what they’re all about.
Q: What’s really unique about your brand?
A: All Sneeb designs are created and printed by only one person, me, Brian Hicks. I think people will begin to acknowledge how much work goes into these shirt and when they buy and wear them appreciate the time I put into them. Others think it’s a lot of work but I think it’s a lot of fun and that’s why I’m going to continue this no matter if a million people wear Sneeb or if only I wear Sneeb.
